Prathivara Nama Japam, shortly called as PNJ, is a prayer done together mainly by Ladies on every Sunday at 4 PM, under the banner of Kerala Brahmana Sabha IJK Unit. Though this weekly prayer was being done in a small way by gents, it was the ladies team who took over and stabilized it, as an afterthought consequent to their joint prayer during one Navarathri, almost two years back. Subsequently, PNJ was being conducted every week at Gayathri Prayer Hall, Pandi Samooham and Puthankulam Mahaganapathy Temple. When the team experienced spiritually, the team members showed interest to conduct it in their houses, first of which was in Ms Annapoorni Ramanathan's (The PNJ Chief) house. Slowly the team covered the entire western side and when words spread, almost all houses started coming forward for doing it in their houses. Now, there are houses which conducted PNJ three times within a short span of time. During the Thrissur District Meeting of KBS, this was appreciated and applauded as a unique Jana Samparkkam program. All houses which conducted the PNJ, experienced spiritual vibrations.
